We gathered chestnuts today at a farm in the hills by our house, something I’ve never done before! We looked on the ground for whole ones that we could crack open to find the nuts inside. They were so prickly that we had to wear gloves! Cheers to the full moon! 🥃🍊🌕 THE BOURBON CLEMENTINE (My go-to fall drink) Stir in a glass: ice, bourbon + a few drops of Angostura bitters. Then slice a wheel of clementine and add it as garnish. Squeeze the rest of the clementine into the glass, stir again & enjoy!

I love having fresh flowers in the house all the time but it can be hard to keep up! I try to gather things outside when I can, even if it’s just greens in a vase, but lately when I buy, I look for flowers that last a long time like marigolds, mums and carnations. 🍂🌼
